Soo yeah… I have been quite busy but it looks like Asus just released new bios. I am literally figuring this out just today. How is everyones experience so far?
I read @m0rk post and it looks like they updated and are still having issues. I hope my fate isn’t the same.
No issue on mine, both pre and post update to the latest BIOS.
7995wx with 768GB.
Update was a bit janky and ended up reseting all of my bios and secure boot keys but it seems fine once you get through that mess
I should probably do the update myself, then jump back down the rabbit hole of getting the A770 to play nice with the 4090, however, system has been super stable and I don’t want to jinx it!
I’m going to put in a PO with work to see if they’ll get me an upgrade to my RAM since I basically furnished my own hardware for this job.
UPDATE
So i have updated the bios and that went through without a hitch thank goodness. Sadly my occasional bluescreens and restarts are still present. Have had 2 bsods at idle since the bios have been installed. It is doing it at the same rate as it was before.
I will say that my system does feel perhaps a bit smoother / snappier otherwise perhaps. Ultimately ,it doesnt seem to have resolved the root issue of what i have going on sadly.
Happy to hear that the implementation of this update has at the very least not made anyones system worse off. Good stuff.
