@TheSkaz1 did you ever figure this out, I am running into the same problem. Same processor, same board. The board does not apply any options from the AMD CBS submenu.
I have an open case with ASUS. They are testing it. Seems to be an issue with having 1TB of RAM
Do you have a reference ID for the ticket you can send me in a PM, I’d like to open one too.
the case number is N2502034489-0002
Thank you. Running a computer like this has been a little unpleasant adventure. I’ve run into half a dozen software bugs with Linux and Fedora in particular with this setup that I still all need to file and now a hardware bug too.
What RAM do you have, you have those 128GB Samsung modules from the QVL list too?
Yrp. The very ones
with the 5995wx, I have had quite a few issues with slowness in python in multithreaded applications. I have another thread here talking about that.
Do you use Windows? I experienced weird behavior with Windows where a fresh install of either Windows 10 or Windows 11 would score me 4700 points in Cinebench and then I would do updates and then suddenly Windows would throttle on Cinebench after a dozen seconds or so and end up scoring 2700 points. I investigated this and with a fresh install Windows pulls 420 watts for the entire duration of the benchmark but when I did all updates I scales back to 220 watts only (so 60 watts below TDP).
Usually I use Linux but I used Windows for all the benchmarking.
I do think it has to do with the microcode Windows loads but it is a guess. I had a Windows 11 install that would throttle, then I booted in a fresh Windows 10 install that was not throttling, and after starting Windows 11 again it would not throttle anymore too.
Windows is messing up the performance somehow, instead of boosting it slows down compared to stock even.
I do kinda suspect the memory being 128GB RDIMMs being a problem for either the mainboard or the memory controller resulting in the reset. Based on that hunch I have ordered eight 128GB LRDIMMs to see if that makes any difference.
I’ll report back here as soon as the memory modules have arrived.
I used windows for a bit, tried WSL, but since my workload is primarily in python, I went to Ubuntu.
I have updated my ticket with ASUS.
The RDIMM M393AAG40M3B-CYF modules reset the BIOS as soon as I put in more then three.
The LRDIMM M386AAG40MMB-CVF modules reset the BIOS as soon as I put in more then seven.
This issue persists for BIOS versions 1106, 1302, 1401, 1501 and 1602.

Got news today that do not sound too bad …
I got a reponse yesterday too:
According to our higher department that it appears the memory is the one that is not compatible with the NUMA to NPS4. What processor did you have? we need to check if the meory support NPS4?
5995wx, then:
We are currently working with our Technical Support Department to determine the best next step for resolution
You will receive a follow up within 1-2 business days. We appreciate your patient in advance
I’ll keep you posted if I hear anything new, I did not get an ETA for an follow up though.
I have not yet.
Just got a response. They finally reproduced the issue with the 5995wx specifically. Issue did not come up with the 5975wx. They are debugging and “stand by”
