Asus vg248qZ reports no displayport signal

I have it plugged in and all should be fine but my new monitor says no displayport signal.

I think my displayport is dead. Hdmi works.

I have that same monitor and for whatever reason the DisplayPort is very finicky with certain cables. I want to say its sensitivity to the cables but unsure
