I'm about to purchase an asus transformer book t100 for school. I like to play emulators. I realize I can't play any wii emulators because the hardware isn't up to snuff, so to speak, but I do play ps1, nds, gba, and any other emulators I can get my hands on. Back to the point, though, has anyone installed Ubuntu 14.04(or higher) on the asus t100? I ask about ubuntu because it has pretty decent touch support.
If it is an i3 then yes but the bay trail atoms will not work do to it having a 32 EFI
I will get the 64gb version and I have a 128gb sd card so as long as the sd card is formatted to fat32 it should be ok. As far as linux support for a baytrail processor It works because intel released baytrail open source drivers for linux. I just need to know how the touch experience is.
I know they did but most companies borked the EFI and made it 32 bit which GRUB doesn't support. If it has an i3 or better Linux might work.
