ASUS Strix GTX 980 or a EVGA Titan Black

Hi all,

I want to start recording games, and i want to know, witch would be better a Asus Strix GTX980 or a EVGA Titan Black non SC, in this case or what i know the Asus Strix GTX980 is better, and will give me ultra setings and recording in 1080, i'm i right?

The 980 is faster. The only reason to get the older titans anymore is if you need them for the double precision which comes into effect only in certain professional 3d modeling applications.

then if i need it for recording wont see any difference and the 980 will perform better, if i understand right?

because here in mexico the 980 is about 13k and the titan x is 24 to 25k, you know ... dollar stuff, and it's pretty imposible for me to buy it, but i want to see if in december i buy one or another 980 or 980ti if it's come to life :D
