Will it fit in an Antec 900 case, I assume it will since it's an ATX form factor but just asking to be sure. Also the RAM speeds that are supported are DDR3 1866/1600/1333/1066. Logan just uploaded a build video and used 2133MHz RAM. What has to be done to make the RAM run at that speed?
You'll probably have to manually overclock the RAM in order to get it to run at that speed (assuming that the board even supports overclocking the RAM that high).
And yes, it will definitely fit in that case, but I would personally probably steer you away from Antec cases.
I am reusing my Antec 900 in my new build to save money.
Oh, no big deal then.
yep asus boards 2133 ram, my assus crosshair v formula -z supports upto 2400mhz ram
Well since the RAM is rated at 2133MHz would it cause the RAM to run hotter since you have to OC to get it's correct speed, or will it run at normal temps because that is it's clocked rate?
Ram doesnt run hot enough to require active cooling, it will be fine either way being passively cool by the incidental air in the case.
