i like the gigabyte one it looks more cooler

show me the gigabyte one, because it has to be damn good looking to be better than this mobo..

It looks like a fucking fruit loop, just like all the rest.

Lol, though I'm a huge fan and own a p35-ds3l. :P

thats their x58 board

i take back my previous statement, it looks like fruit loops with some gummy bears on the side.

-_- yep, looks EXACTLY like any other gigabyte mobo. still debating in my mind if i should get the gigabyte mobo i posted in another thread or if i should get the asus p5q pro/corsair 750w psu combo to save an extra $20..

stupid gigabyte combo was with either the e8500, q9300 or e7200... argh i want the q6600 :/

Fruit loops & gummy bears LOL

but look at the heatsink

Asus had offically unveiled the Rampage II Extreme. More info can be found here

[EDIT]

Just to add one more thing, I think the Gigabyte EX58-Extreme looks more of a kickass than the Rampage II Extreme, despite Asus putting more aggression to their board. Too bad Gigabyte took that style of them. But there are several things I don't like about the EX58-Extreme. First of all, WTF????!!!! No e-sata on the rear I/O ports? And last of all those ps/2 ports still appear, despite Intel had removed those from their boards from now on.

Now about the Rampage II Extreme, only one thing that I don't like about it so far, is that Asus didn't include at least an option for fusion block on the Northbridge. That X58 will get toasted under extreme conditions.

Just to resurrect this thread, who is planning to get one?

I am looking at this one and the EVGA X58 SLI as well but don't know which one is better of OverClocking

def. the asus

is there room for a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro sound card in the top black PCIeX1 slot because I need a sound card with EAX5.0

lol yes, it comes with its own sound card to put right there lol, you can switch it with any sound card you want, the board has no onboard audio

i still like more the evga 780i ftw..
