Does having the second fan to the CPU add a whine?

@Jolly The second fan runs at a lower max speed and has thicker rubber standoffs to minimize vibration and noise.

Hi! I’m going to build a Asus sWRX80 Sage and I’d like to mount over the 3975Wx the Noctua -U14s

The noctua website says “mechanically incompatible” but I see your photo and looks like they could be wrong?

I am looking at something similar and need guidance. Can you provide more info? And which sound levels can be expected?

This is the right one for a larger case.

It works out of the box, with no part swapping.
I use 2 fans push pull in a Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL
Cool and quiet, but it does require a deeper case.
