ASUS P5K 4TB support?

Okay so I watched a video where a guy explains the difference between MBR and GPT what I want is to get new HDD that is 4TB so I'll just store music and movies and that short of stuff on it. Then there's this thing called UEFI which you'll need to get it over 2.2TB as boot disk? so it won't act as boot disk to me as I've already boot disk I just need new HDD where I add data. 

My question is if I put the 4TB HDD in and format it as GPT can I use 2.2TB or 4TB? 

I do have Windows 7 64bit in use but my motherboard doesn't have UEFI at all..

You can partition it into 2 seperate 2TB sections if you wanted to boot from it. But as you aren't booting from it WIndows 7 will recognize it as a 4TB HDD for storage.
