I'm...Finally going to break down I think and give Linux a go as a main driver for at least the next six months. I've completed the games I'm bothered about, and I'm satisfied that the future games I'm interested in will run natively. There is, however one issue now that I've eliminated SLI on my rig. The ranger uses Asus Suite III - is there a linux version of this, or at least a way to get my fans controlled in the way they currently are in windows 10?
Search in /sys/class/hwmon/ and /sys/class/thermal/ for the devices. If the fans are exposed they're in there. You can then use lm-sensors and fancontrol to set things up (they use the devices in /sys).
If you don't find them in /sys there is no driver available or they can't be loaded.
Just an update for people - The motherboard isn't natively supported in terms of fan control, so it's looking like I'm going to have to get a fan control panel - not a massive issue, as a Corsair 750D is more than able to accommodate this.
