well if I might make a suggestion... grab a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

its the same price range as those boards but it has an 8+2 VRM which gives it more stable power and lets it overclock better... otherwise its those two are fine but its more of a prefrence because they're both good boards but if you've seen Logon's newest video then yeah I'd say ASUS because it might have that fan I/O controller, I dunno thats why I it said might.
