Asus h97m-e

I got a Haswell i5-4590 for free so I wanted to build a nice new system without spending too much money. I saw this motherboard for like 80 euros and thought it was a good deal but I'm not gonna make a decision without consulting with hardware enthusiasts. Somehow I always end up with an ASUS motherboard and they've served me well, but I'd still like to know more. Does anyone have any experience with this board? What about that Crystal Sound 2.0 feature? I know there's a Tek Syndicate video about it, but there's no actual review.

Its a solid board.

Better get H97M-Plus, (at least in Denmark) it's just a tiny bit more expensive and it's way better.

They didn't have that one. I would go for the full size ATX but they didn't have one that would fit my current budget. I didn't plan this. I got the CPU out of the blue for free so why not build a system with it. I saw this mobo in a small tech shop. It looked OK and I couldn't find anything bad about it on the internet. I guess I'll go for it.
