I'm looking for a new graphics card and I've had my eye on the Asus 660ti's I'm just wondering if anyone can advise me on which version to get.
The OC edition comes factory overclocked to 1058MHz vs the standard versions 980MHz but costs around £50/$80 more. Does anyone know if the GPU boost software they come with would push the standard one upto the same speeds as the OC edition?
no, not unless you use photoshop or adobe video editors. go for the readeon 7870
The standard edition should in theory be able to be overclocked just as high as the OC edition.
I guess what determines whether or not it's worth it is what card you're upgrading from and what FPS you currently get in your games.
If you don't mind spending the extra money and you don't want to bother with OCing then just get the factory OCed one.
