Hi everyone! I'm a happy Linux user of new AM4 platform.
There is only one issue I can't solve.
I'll start with a fact that it's ALC 1220 codec. Info from the internet (Phoronix) says that its supported since 4.11 kernel. But It was working for me with 4.10 too. Can anyone explain this to me?
But the main issue I'll descibe now persists across both kernels , Ubuntu and Fedora but not on windows. I use Audacity. Starting of the recording messes up audio input.
Recording lags so hard that in effect 10 second recording lasts less than a second ( its speed up) . It's wierd, cause in Discord it works mostly fine ( can still hear some crackling, not present on windows). It seems like the sampling rate was not right? After the record attempt input signals persists "laged" . Can't find any issue like this on the net so I decided to search for help here.
