Hey, I was wondering if I should get this for messing around with Arch Linux once it comes out? Any other recommendations on Chromebooks for Arch?

I am also interested in getting a chromebook for linux. I would like to also ask what kind of light gaming you could do on something like a chromebook running linux?
I think you can definatly play some modern games at low-medium settings, the specs are decent for light gaming
I've not heard of anyone booting Arch off of these things. I'm sure it's been done/ can be done/ will be done, but I've only seen ubuntu boots. Now, those have been fantastic, and to me it seems like this is really one of the best linux based laptops/netbooks you can get for the price (with a little bit of work of course). So I'd definitely go for it. If you cant get arch then you can get ubuntu, and if you dont like that then you still have one of the most secure OS around.
You obviously havent looked.
I run arch off of my C720.
There's even a dedicated page on the Arch wiki for it.
It runs buttery smooth, even better than Ubuntu because it isnt full of crapware.
