I’ve been using Asus’s AI Suite for controlling all of my fans, in hopes I could run all of them at a low, silent speed. Unfortunately, every time my PC gets waked up, my fans immediately ramp up to full speed. In order to change this, I have to load my profile manually every time after this happens.
At this rate, I am looking for a hardware control alternative solution. Can anyone point me in a general direction as to where to start?
Since this is Windows FanControl can be used rather than falling back to hardware alternatives to BIOS control.
If Asus autotune’s put the fans into pulsed mode (IIRC it’s called ultra quiet or something) probably good to turn that off before running the Armoury Crate uninstall tool. On the Asus boards I’ve worked with there’s no BIOS option for the pulsed setting and, when moving to non-Asus control, pulse mode would still chop fan power at all speeds.
