Hi - I’m having issues with my L1KVM PAAG-E3122B. The second monitor doesn’t seem to work on this KVM, and also one of my Macbooks (the M1 Macbook) seems to go to sleep when I switch away from it even though I’ve set it to not go to sleep. Thoughts? Or how can I return this?
You can contact customer service through the store for a return if that’s what you want to do. The setup from what you’ve described so far sounds reasonably common and known to work.
Can you swap around cables for the first and second monitor and see if that works? How have you got it cabled?
Some USBc to DP adapters use power from the DP side, which doesn’t work if you switch away from it. So the type of usbc to dP adapter you use matters quite a bit.
“sleep” may be device unplugged. You could confirm it’s the cable by powercycling “the cable” by unplugging it at both ends and then plugging it back in without otherwise changing the input on the kvm.
if you are using two monitors, you are running two monitor cables or two USBc to DP adapters from each device, right?
