ASRock Z87Extreme 11/ac, What is this thing? (wait i think i already used this title before shit)

(I think I may be making a presence for myself on these forums as that guy who finds motherboards online, does about 20 minutes of google search, and then posts on the motherboard thread (and subsequently abandons his own thread (so sorry for that)).... Anyways...)

I found this motherboard when trying to do some research of the ASRock C2750D4I on my limited internet access at my work.  (I am looking at building myself a nas server, but due to ignorance of nas-ness.... (yeah... that...), I am trying to do as much research as I can before impulse purchasing the wrong thing).

So with that out of the way, does anybody know anything about this thing?

its asrocks highend Z87 board. its a nice feutured board, but probably abit over expensive? unless you would need 22 sata ports?

I think you could get better boards for les, but offcourse with less sata ports.

Well if you plan to pick up 4 780 ti's and a celeron, then this is your motherboard -_- but seriously this thing really has no place in the market. The features it flaunts are really stuff maybe 10 people will ever use. For this kind of money on Lga 1150, spend less and pick up a Asus Republic of Gamers board or maybe a MSI Mpower/Xpower if your a crazy person.

I always found the Extreme11 boards very interesting simply because of the LSI MegaRAID controller built in, but its not interesting enough to justify the price

Okay, this is what I was expecting. I love the idea of a stable, metric ass ton of sata ports, but way too expensive. Thanks for the responses.
