Anyone use this board yet? I've read a couple reviews, and I haven't seen anything bad on the review's I've read. I haven't built a pc in about 5 years, my last one had a AMD phenom and EVGA 730a motherboard. I just got a I7-4770k today, planning on using a samsung 840 pro 128 gb and a 1 or 2 terabyte wd. Ram, G.Skills Ripjaws 16 gb 1600 mhz. I haven't decided on the graphics cards yet, its up in the air. 2 GTX 780's classified, 780 ti, 790, or Titan Black Edition. My choice would be the 790, I've never done SLI. I've read it can be sketchy at times, like some games aren't made for it. So I'm kind of worried about the 790 since its a dual gpu card. And the Titan, I've read it's more for developers. I'm trying to finishing this by the end of next month. So I still have time to decide on the graphics card. So any input on that will be greatly appreciated as well.
the Asrock Z87 fatality killer is a very nice board as far as ive seen. its also good looking. i did not read any bad review about this board either, so in my opinnion its a good board.
About the GPU, i dont know when the GTX790 will come out, but if you could afford a GTX780Ti is not a bad choice, if you live in the US.
I have a bad habit with the mind set of If it's cheap, then it's not as good. Newegg has it for $120. I wanted to stay below $200,but the Asrock has some cool features. Which is why I was checking it out.
I've read on different places the 790 is suppose to launch in March Sometimes. I'm just going to have to pick one I guess, they all seem like badass Cards so I don't think I'll go wrong with any of them. But I'm not doing the 780 SLI.
Also a good mobo to look at is the Msi Z87-G45 Gaming.
