When I originally built my system i started with 2xKSM26SED8/16ME. After some time I decided I needed more memory but couldn’t find any place that had 2 more sticks of KSM26SED8/16ME in stock.
Even though it isn’t on the Memory QVL list I picked up 2xKSM26SED8/32ME from newegg and was able to combine them for a total of 96GB of memory.
The only odd thing is that BMC doesn’t display it properly but the BIOS and dmidecode do.
