Asrock Vs. Gigabyte Mobo's Which is better?

I am torn on wether to get an Asrock or Gigabyte motherboard so I want to know, what should I get?

i run an asrock 970 extreme 3 its really nice never used a gigabyte so idk but i have had heard good things... asrock do make pretty nice boards i must say

Go with the one which has more features for you specifically. Both of them worth your money. It's not a Biostar vs ASUS argument. :D

Not to sure on the AM3+ end but i know for Z77 they are extremly well built and durable too (more so the UD type boards), id expect the same for the 990FX lineup, Asrock offers a lot of features for the money but ive heard on there cheaper boards things can get a little dodgy.

I highly recommend Gigabyte motherboards. I helped a friend build a 3570k (the CPU, not 3.57 million dollars) with a Gigabyte Z77X UP4 and it is a very high quality boarrd. When you get the black ones, and not the solid blue ones, they look and function fantastically!

I know that ASRock usually comes with alot of features, but I've heard that Gigabyte motherboards have a better overclocking potential. Both use good parts and are constructed well. So it's really what your looking for in a motherboard.
