Has anybody been able to successfully split the x16 slots into x8/x8 pcie lanes?

I’m trying to fit 6 gpu’s into my Threadripper 1950x build and need x8 lanes per card.

When I look in the UEFI > Advanced > AMD PBS there are PCIe slot configuration options, it only lists x4x4x4x4 mode as an option for the x16 slots.

Has anybody tested running graphics cards with those settings and splitters like these?
