ASRock ROMED8-2T: How to set the "OEM" BIOS values?

Maybe a very “pedestrian” question. In the grander scheme of things, isn’t immensely useful. But …

How does one populate the “OEM” values in the IPMI/FRU and SMBIOS (i.e. “Chassis Type”, “Chassis Serial Number”, etc)?

I guess I’m not very creative today because after an hour of searching Google, I’m empty handed.

Thank you your assistance!

I do not know the answer but I can suggest messaging Asrock support. They can probably tell you if it is an oem only feature or how it is done.
Whatever you find out, please share.
Thank you

Wow, It’s been that long since I created this…
I took @slidermike’s advice and contacted support. Initially, they provided information that I already knew (i.e. what it was and why most likely I didn’t need to bother). Eventually, I received the information I was looking for (but I have not yet attempted to use the tool).

Below, I will “quote” the reply I got (with the information):

The values can be changed via FRU tool version 2.10

Here is the instruction

Thank you!

I will be trying to use this tool most likely this weekend.

Hope it helps other out.

In hindsight, I also found a another page on Asrock’s support site talking about this: Google Search “fru tool ASRock”
