Hi,
I’m having a hard time to control fans on an ASRock romed8-2t. Via IPMI I can make and save settings but what ever settings I make, the fans will always spin at max… Even if I do someting very simple like selecting manual mode and sat duty to 20, the fan will still spin at max speed, even after reboot.
What version is your BMC (IPMI)?
BMC Firmware Version 1.19.00
The old BMC firmware (1.1) on these romed8-2t’s had pretty bad fan control. I was going to say that a BMC upgrade may help, but at the moment you are on a newer version then me 
I’m currently on 1.11 which fixed my fan control issues originally.
I have a pretty good guide that i received from Asrock regarding setting up the fans on ROMED8U-2T which i believe uses the same BMC.
Being a new member i am not sure if there is a facility to add or share a file on this forum. Its just a simple 120kb .DOCX file.
If anyone or a mod can help me share this document it would be appreciated.
