AsRock Rack SIENAD8-2L2T Where is my 24pin ATX connector?

Checking out upcoming EPYC Siena (SP6) boards…looks nice and all, but I can’t see any 24pin ATX power. Some 8pin connectors…sadly no downloadable manual yet.
Same for the other 2L2Q board which states “12V DC in” as well as ATX power.

Anyone knows how this is powered? What is this DC-in madness for 150W TDP CPUs and 96 lanes of periphery? Very strange.

Gigabyte board looks as normal as any other board

(4-pin, ATX PSU signal) w/ ATX 24-pin adapter cable, the 4 pin connector next to the cpu is “powering” the board, and the power for the pcie slots come from the white “EPS or PCIE” connector, likely comes with an adapter and if not, they can be bought online

EDIT: and you likely only need to use the white connector on the board if you are using all the pcie slots and have a high TDP cpu

you usually only see the 4pin for powering on the psu on small boards though where space is a premium like

That explains a lot. The AsRock board is ATX so I just assumed it isn’t some ITX/mATX-like space workaround.

I really like the 2L2Q from AsRock but the power situation just didn’t make sense. Thanks for clarifying that!
