Would be very cool to try one of these out and see how well it works as a solution to running ethernet all over the house. Testing out the mirrorcast would be great as well.
I would love to run this thing through the school system and see what its all about. Maybe set up my own private network within the school system.
This is a really interesting product. I want one.
I need these! I'm running a hacked Telstra router on my Dodo connection ...so when the PSTN line gets called my net drops out for 5 mins while the router re-configures itself.
inserts name in hat
I'm up for it!
^^^^ me ,me please, not like I would know exactly how to test it. Would have to call BIL for help.
This is actually a really interesting concept, as someone that travels ALOT for work my biggest gripe with hotels throughout Australia and most of Asia is their ridiculous throttling of WiFi connections and their stupid 1 device wifi codes... its ridiculous that normal people carry a magnitude of wifi enabled devices but these organisations are still so short sighted that they still think there is no way you would want to connect one device at a time... don't even get me started on their "One AP per 3 floors implementation either"
It would be a blessing to:
A. connect more than one device to wifi.
B. have access to the wired connection which is usually un-throttled. (holy crap netflix might even load without buffering every 30 seconds!)
C. Be close to the AP and not have to go rouge as the wifi won't be disconnecting every minute.
I have no idea what this is, but I always love opening new tech!
I would very much like to participate in this, and I'd be more than willing to write a review.
(Also, interpreting "OR LIKE" as a logical or rather than an exclusive or)
