AsRock A75 Mini-ITX - Flaming deathtrap? Help!

I've heard a lot of horror stories on the VCM's on this board hitting stupid temperatures and sometimes exploding... Yeah I regret this purchase already.

I've been working on a copper heat-sink at my University's metal shop to keep them cool for more or less nothing... Gotta love the off-cut drawers. I'm curious at what to use to bond the heatsink to the VCM's.

It's going to be a flat copper contact directly onto the chips.

Any help or advice would be great!

Cheers!

Alex

Thermal tape or glue.

if you dont ever plan on removing the heatsinks, thermal epoxy.
