If I would get the AMD FX-8350 would ARMA 2 on DayZ run any better does it handel higher cores? I currently have a AMD Phenom II X4 970, and i have a ATI 7850. It gets around 20 FPS at 1080p on almost any setting.
May be worth waiting for the stand alone to come out, and then looking at benchmarks...... rather then dropping $ on a new CPU for a mod that will have empty servers real soon?
That said, purely based on other game benchmarks, I think the FX-8350 would be a improvement on DayZ, but if its worth all the extra cash for the CPU........id look around at what other people with the same GPU and RAM as you are getting with the 8350 (asking on the dayz forum will be your best bet).
