Is any of the nice people here playing Ark Survival Evolved? Haven't had any luck finding a server thats good to play on. Just wondering is any of you have your own server or something like that.

I don't bother with PVP now. Like was mentioned, too many kiddies who've grown up in the me-me-me system we now call our civilization have ported this mentality to the game.

PVE is fine. People help out, are typically literate, and the animals are the bad guys.

I'm just a noob so maybe my opinion will change.

I play on a private/modded server.

Is it something you set up yourself? I'm only 35 hours or so in.. so still much to learn.

A buddy of mine and user of the forums set one up. It is PVE atm but may be opened up to PVP

I end up doing the same. Although the server is not up 24/7. I only run it when my buddies and I want to play. Probably around 3 of the major tribes were just randomly killing people and it got really annoying when we were just trying to get a foot hold on the game.

Anyone's welcome really as long as the follow the general rule of don't be a Dick. It's a PVP server though, so being murdered by people in other tribes should be expected.

I will say this however, If I find that the default behavior on the island is for people to kill other people on site I will take that to mean that the environment is not dangerous enough to necessitate cooperation, and I will take steps to "fix" that issue.
