Are there any PS3 emulators for pc?

My brother recently bought the last of us on the ps3 and I was wondering if there is any way I could play it on the pc?

 CPU: 8350 AMD (Stock clocked)
 RAM: 8GB RAM
 GTS450 1GDDR5
 MOBO: 970DE3/U3S3
 PSU: 550WATT

no there are no ps3 emulators, the archetecure is too complex that not even a 5ghz 3970x could play it, you need a 2~3Ghz Intel CPU depending on the genneration just for the ps2 and its like 300mhz coproccessors and dsps and not a cell 8 core at 3.2Ghz, you're have to overclock for the more demanding ps2 and gamecube games

There have been a few but nothing that comes close to rendering even a single frame of a comercial game.

Nope PS3 has not been emulated yet, even on PS2 emulator there are games that just don't work and can't be emulated perfectly.

PS3 games are coded right down to the architecture afaik, ie no directx, which means a lot of the work is done in assembly. As a result, it's incredibly difficult to make a port of that which works with directx or opengl, so no, you're not gonna find anything.

Thanks for your advice man. I'm so pissed off right now,as the last of us is only on the ps3, I'm dying to play it so badly. Should I consider going to the console,just for this one game?? Also do you think they'll port it to pc?

Nope, if anyone's gonna hate on you for that, they're plain stupid. Last of Us, I hear, is a great game. Don't worry so much about where you experience it. Just play some games and have fun dude. You don't constantly have to live up to the standards people set for you, especially on the internet.

Thanks for thats. it does kinda shit me when people say your a pc gamer, fucking play pc. Its an exclusive game on the ps3 only! I took your advice already and started playing it man is it fudging awesome.
