Are my temps normal?

Ok my cpu is an FX-8150 at stock and my cooler is a hyper 212+ with 1 fan,and i have been using CPUID Hardware Monitor to look at my temps, and if go by the temps of my cores i am getting a high of 60c,and a low of 26c,and if i go from the cpu temps from the mobo i get a high of 59c and a low of 41c.

Those temps are worrying me cause AMD's max safe temp for the 8150 is 61c.

yes

My cpu with a 15min burn with watercooling (no OC):

lol granted my mobo is set to keep it at that temp at all times.

The mobo temps are a little high on the lows. But 61C is definitely not the thermal limit of the 8150

mobo temps are at the socket no on the die, so it makes sense for them to take longer to go low.

I'd worry if they go past 75C

Keep in mind that those temps of mine were only under normal gaming load it would hotter if i tried to prime 95.

This info doesnt mean much if you dont post your ambient room temps...

Sorry my room is at about 70-75F

Its cool. Ok, so your low at 26c is only 3.8 degrees farenheit higher than your ambient, assuming its 75f. So thats really good.

TJ max for a FX-8150 is 90c, so 60c isnt bad at all.

Yes, always go with per core temps. Real temp is another pretty handy tool, as well as cpuid.

Just make sure that 60c is your true high temp. Cheers!

Woah... so my NZXT Havik is better than watercooling? Cool!! I get around 58 during prime 95 and room temps are usually 80....

Well, big air isnt to far behind closed looped systems. Sometimes even better. Custom is a different story though.

Keep in mind though you have a 2500k sandy....Not a hot ivy.

Last night out of bordeem i did a test, where i ran prime 95(large FFT's),msi kombuster, and crystaldiskmark on 4000mb to get the max heat output of my rig,my motherboard said that cpu was 71c and the mainboard was 42c, per core temps was a max of of 61c,my sata 2 1.5tb drive hit 42c my SSD never even went up 1c(or 1f lol)my old 250gb sata 1 drive hit 41c,and last my referance 7970 with the fan set to auto hit 92c with the fan set to 100% it only hit 77c,but when i set it to 55%(the max i can stand to have it on for a length of time) it hit 97c.

My case is a haf 932.

I have pics if you guys want to see.

Yeah, I'd be interested enough to check them out.

Warning these are screenshots of my desktop, and i run 3 screens so the pics are big.

All the temps look good to me. Jeeze that 7970 runs hot though, lol Maybe try and get a fan around it to move more air into it. Could be a more eficient way of keeping it quiet while having good temps.
