I went to open up my build and fix the wiring, which is better now :) when i was done, i boot the computer up and tested the fans. I noticed that my hsf is blowing the opposite way of the heatsink. In the diagram, it shows the airflow going through the heatsink.
But i dont feel the air blowing from the other damn side.
Im not sure if this was a manufacturing problem. but I want to know how to fix this.
To show what im talking about. I made a diagram as well.
And also know how to raise the fans speed. I got speedfan, but i dont know how to make it go faster.
For those who want to know my temps.. its idle 30 and full load 45 at 2.41 ghz.
wow. i forgot. my bios crashed and everything reset.. sht.. I need to fix it. Ill give an update when i put it to 3.3 ghz
Its probabyl throttled to a point where u dont notice it. Mine used to go down to 900rpm
o.0
sometimes it's hard to determine if it's blowing or sucking (say wut you wanna say about that) try using a piece of paper to determine the way the air is blowing. post back once you ahve tried that, and tell us if it is indeed blowing the wrong way.
I have no idea. I tried that. and it wasnt sucking or blowing.. * laugh it up*.. i tried both ends. its neither lol. the rpm is too weak..
I tried AI suite . optimal, and performance . the rpm is 850. why?! isnt it 900 - 2500? i want it to be 2500. but i have no idea how.
go into your bios and disable the automatic fan speed
make sure u did and saved to the cmos
Guess i didnt. My motherboard for some reason doesnt have the option for automatic fan control. The only time it goes berserk on the fan speed is when it boots up. Will the fan mate 2 work with it?
Do you have it pluged into the motherboards CPU 3pin power? or juts some casefan 3pin. if not try this software. http://www.almico.com/speedfan434.exe
mines connected to the motherboard. ill check out that software.
oh nvm. i tried speedfan but i dont know how to configure it to make my cpu 2000 rpm.
yes but did you make sure it's in the right connection on the motherboard?
yeah. the cpu fan is connected on the motherboard above the RAM.. my mobo is the p5ke wifi edtion.

I must say that is the best picture I have ever seen.
this is kinda frustrating .. how the hell do i make the rpm faster. /hrmm
In Speedfan you should just be able to adjust the fan speed to 100%.
version 3.34 is technical.. not very simple.
back to my question.
WIll fan mate work with my cooler?
why the hell are you using 3.34 of speedfan....
bug fixes comes to mind. isnt that why you patch your games to the latest update? same concept yes?
uhm u do kno 4.34 is out right....
