Arch Linux wireless

I am a beginner with arch Linux and I can't seem to get the wireless working.

I have tied multiple wireless adapters which apart from one, all work.

The problem I am having is that it will scan for networks, I select my network then it doesn't connect to it.

Ps: I am still trying to install it

did you install wpa_supplicant and dialog when you set up arch

Wpa supplicant is already installed I have tried using but still not working.

Log files says that the profile is already on so it fails. I have tried turning it off and back on

Also I have not set it up yet, I can't install it
I am using a usb stick to boot

Did you follow the guide on the arch wiki for first install? Or did you do a similar god awful job like wendell did in his video :U
(sorry wendell but that was just bad).

What are you using to connect? wifi-menu is recommended onthe CLI.

I was watching a video but it shown me that I need a Internet connection

Yes I am using wifi menu but it shows me the network list, I choose my wifi then i set it as a profile. Then it doesn't connect to it. Am I missing a step?

I have just looked at the wireless section of the wiki
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/beginners'_guide
It just shows what I have already tried

Do you know what chipset the wireless card have ? some them requires extra firmware files before working properly.

Check https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_network_configuration#Device_driver to determine the wireless card chipset and driver, determine if there are any more files on the repos and aur.

After that consult the driver section the troubleshooting section and post again here with more info.

the logs might provide some insight into what is happening. After trying to connect and failing, type

journalctl -xe

to see the log. You are probably looking for something involving netctl
