Arch. KDE. No Wifi

I don’t know how to enable wifi. It’s completely gone from the system tray. If I run wifi-menu in terminal I get connecting failed. Please help.

Tried looking at the system logs?

Where?

in the terminal journalctl -rn will get you the entries in reverse order.

A minimal wpa_supplicant.conf would look like this

network={
ssid=“your network name”
psk=“your key”
}

this is quick and dirty and not very secure since your psk is in a plain text file but will at least get you connected.

Edit

Look here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/WPA_supplicant and here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dhcpcd

run wpa_supplicant with an ampersand at the end, and then run dhcpcd.
