Hi guys , first time poster here.
I have a Back-UPS 550 that has a wiring fault LED that lights up very dimly that can only
be noticed in a dark room.
When connected to almost every outlet in the house i get a very dim glow from the LED.
One possibly defective outlet i get a very bright glow.
I have 2 other APC UPS of different models that also have a wiring fault LED and they do not
light up when connected to the seemingly normal outlets.
Is the dim glow normal or should it be completely off?
This is the troubleshooting guide on that UPS
Full manual is here.

See if any of those light indications are true for your circumstances.
Thanks for your reply.
I get no beeps or flashing, and i have seen other posts
where people have had a similar experience (dimly lit LED) but testing the outlet
found it to be fine...im wondering if this is just how the UPS appears but does not indicate a fault.
Also, I live in Trinidad so i wonder if there is a slight voltage difference from other countries the UPS is generally designed for that causes this LED to light dimly.
