No dedicated lanes for M.2 SSD :frowning: I hope that Intel packs a few more PCIe lanes in the future.

You buy X299 then. They won’t give you more lanes. Its all about market segmentation.

Fortunately AMD mainstream has lanes for NVMe. However, with the rising SSD speeds, I think it is just a question of the time for Intel.
