I've been using one of the older Power A wireless PS3 controllers because I personally prefer the Xbox layout over the PS3 (the PS3 controller is just too small for my hands and I prefer the concave joysticks). I was really enjoying it until I took it over to a friend's house and started playing NHL with it.
The game requires a lot of hard movement of the joysticks and that caused the rubber on the sticks to peel off.
I wanted to know if they have fixed this issue with the newer version before I ordered one.
Thanks!
I haven;t used this controller before , I have a ps3 don't find any issues with the size(Logitech has controllers aorund that size ). Many companies make controllers ; I would check out thrustmaster, razer, logitech, steelseries etc.
I went ahead and ordered one of the new ones. It looks like they made enough improvements to it over the old one I have (finally added an internal battery and sixaxis support) so hopefully they improved the joysticks as well. As far as the normal PS3 controllers go they are just too small for my hands. Not saying it's a bad controller for everyone.
