Anyone tried out Google Inbox yet?

Was curious if anyone else tried out the beta yet and what they thought of it?

I just tried it out for the first time today and I'm honestly really impressed with the way they have incorporated a lot of nifty things about Google Now right into a gmail like interface that makes email feel like a to-do list which is surprisingly awesome.

My favorite thing so far is that you can snooze an email to come back at a later date... I am going to use that all the time!

Another cool thing was that it recognized that my Google Group is a google group and and now I can easily go back to older group messages w/o having to a search which is pretty nice.

Almost forgot, material design is looking fantastic on both my Nexus and the Chrome Browser can't wait for more features. Anyways let me know what you guys think about Inbox or some other cool stuff you've found.

I'll google your inbox.

I'm a big fan of material design and where google is going with their stuff. I love that you can access 99% of your Google stuff on ANY platform, via app or web browser, and it just works. I also like how simple and intuitive the apps are on mobile, and on desktops. I hadn't heard about Google Inbox though, how do you enable that and what exactly is it? Is it just a new mail client?

I haven't tried it, but after they launched it google deleted all of my archived gmail. It sort of soured me to trying their new product.

Does anyone have an invite for it? I'm in Europe so missed the Happy Hour!

I have yet to get an invite, but I would love to try it.

i haven't touched my gmail for quite awhile....how are things compared to that mess?

I miss my cluttered Gmail honestly. I'm not an organized person :)

Gmail on my tab, and inbox for my laptop.

I've got it and its great...

If anyone wants an invite I have 5.

I'm liking it so far But It's too simplified. It's great for the simplicity of it but it's not for a power user

It's just way cleaner than GMail IMO.

I need to go in and configure all of the default folders, but other than that it's really good.

+1. It really isn't intended for the power user. That's why I prefer Gmail... that, and I like how my mail is just there, and not sorted into a million folders... like I said above, I'm not an organized person :). I don't work that way.

Or I should say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. But seriously, I get less work done in organized environments.

i'll take one if you're still offering them :)

+1 all the way.

Since i'm not a power user on my phone... DesktopMasterRace I use inbox instead of gmail on my phone
