Got a new job, the company has been running this since 1992, and there is literally 1 guy alive there maintaining it. There is an offsite contractor to deal with issues that arise during vacations/holidays/etc. Does anyone know a proper migration path? If I can dump the database is there a tool that will keep the data integrity but keep some functionality?
I’m in a place where they are just trying to ride it out until the owner dies and then hope to be bought out and then integrated. I’m trying to map the path forward…
