Hey guyz.
Some time ago I was browsing the Internet and noticed one of my trusty reviewers making a review of Angry Birds movie. OK, let's see what she thinks about it. And she loved it. Didn't praised it to high heavens, but she was really positive about it. And I said to myself why the hell not.
Guys, go and see the Angry Birds movie if you haven't. I love it. The terrible bird puns, the anger management issues... It is hilarious. I laughed so much. So goooooooood.
This needs to come with a clarification - it is not good movie. Keeping in mind it's made for children it was amazingly mature and surprisingly enjoyable. I can say it is in the top videogame movies, right next to the Mortal Kombat movie. The first one. It is surprisingly good.
There is a really good video somewhere about how the whole movie is an allegory for Syrian refugees. You can find the theory plastered all over the internet, but this one video summed it up really well from the perspective of a movie goer which I think is really nice. Wish I could find it.
What is wrong with the internet? There we are, having a nice movie about a mobile game, and what do you know, the current issue of the day is inserted... I'm getting too old for the internet.
The movie was made in Europe and couldn't get funding and is pretty obviously about refugees. It isn't hard to see that this is social commentary.
Can some mod delete this topic? Please?
lol Watch the video. It makes more sense than you would likely like to believe.
I don't care anymore. I was talking about a movie, that surprises me with how good actually is, and we have the refugee issues inserted into it. I don't care. Turn the topic into this. whatever...
I haven't seen it and I never will.
I heard it felt like a movie that spawned from a game. It progressed only when something happened and there wasn't a real plot to it.
Meh, I don't really care to see it.
I heard the animation quality was nice though
Honestly, I enjoyed it more than X-men apocalypse...
As for the plot - it's nothing new. Every plot point has been done before in other movies, and all of them - better...
Whatever. I still enjoyed the horrible bird puns and egg jokes and what not.
I took my kids to go see it last week, they liked it. I didn't care much for t but just enjoyed spending the time with my kids
