Anyone know if a DL360 gen10 motherboard will physically bolt into a DL360 gen9 chassis?

Does anyone know if a DL360/DL380 gen10 motherboard will physically bolt into a DL360/DL380 gen9 chassis? They look very similar if not identical. Obviously there would be the need for risers etc. I’m just wondering if it is possible or if anyone else has done or seen something similar.

I’m asking because I’d like to have Optane memory but I don’t want to go out and buy the whole chassis for it if I can simply bolt a board into a gen 9 chassis I have laying around.

please hold…

DL20 Gen 9 and 10 are not compatible (just physically checked). Standoffs and rear IO are ALL wrong.

Sorry, thought we still had some 360’s but we recycled them.

Thanks - yeah I figured the DL20’s didn’t work. But the 360/380 looks to be very very similar.

Could be wrong, but it appears as though they are using the same chassis based on images comparing screw holes, lack of physical feature changes (none except sockets), and lack of any other visual change. Heres the ones I compared. Feel free to look for more sold ebay listings to get a good look at things and compare em. You can also check the system and board manuals to check exact screw hole placement, but I am lazy lol.

360 g10

360 g9

Thanks.

I think the G10 board will bolt directly into the G9 chassis. Risers are perhaps a different story.
