I don't know where this should go, so I will put it here.
I am currently working on a proof of concept with a friend which we will turn into a business next year.
Basically a telepresence robot using WebRTC, the exact details are secret (for now) but I will post in here when we are ready to publicize.
I was wondering if anyone here has had any robotics projects in the past. Wendell has said he worked on several robots in the past so I'm curious how many of you have done the same. I mean computers are great and all but I am more into using them as tools for creativity. I'm also especially curious what Wendell's robot projects were like :P
At my school we have a robotics program that i love to participate in. we have two different sides, VEX for people who enjoy focusing on building the robot, and Arduino for people who are more comfortable wiring breadboards and programming with GPIO. we go to several competitions every year and are actually hosting one ourselves http://mhsrobots.com/
we focus mainly on sumo bots and path finding robots (autonomously finding their way through a maze)

I did battlebots (built two bots) and FIRST robotics (participated in two seasons) in high school. In college Iv'e built a few quadcopters that can do some simple formation flight (group tasks like flying in circles, lines and formations), and now I'm working on another battlebot for the 220lb league.
