The Word Alive, my favorite artist, just released their new album: Real
It is in my opinion their best album, as they have really been able to refine their sound and overall production quality while still retaining their metalcore roots. It has both smoother, more musical songs like Light House, but it also has smashers like Broken Circuit.
I love TWA (and their lead singer Telle Smith) because they are able to beautifully produce quality, softer musical pieces, but can also lay down and shred the hard songs as well. Not too many bands can do that!
Deceiver was a fantastic album, but they still sounded a bit too grungy and underground at that point. Life Cycles seemed like a departure from their general style, so I'm extremely glad that Real took them back.
If you like metalcore, or bands like Asking Alexandria, memphis may fire, etc., then I'd really give TWA a listen!
If there are any other TWA fans out there, I'd like to know :)
