Anyone help me pls!

Hi everyone, I am in need of help! I tried insatalling Corsair H100i and I had trouble with it's fan controller (corsairlink 2) so I decided that i might be able to control the fans directly through the mother board (it worked) unfortunately I disconnected the pump connector and my Pc just crashed. Now it won't even go past the login screen it restarts on its own. I have ASUS M5A99Fx pro R2.0 mobo an fx-8350 and checked my RAM sticks with memok! And there's nothing wrong with them. I don't know what to do anyone pls help me!

you should try resetting your bios

That and pull the battery.

aka cmos clear

if you can try  your cpu in another known to work motherboard.

I have loaded optimized default settings in the bios and nothing changes. I'll try taking the battery off.

Well thats the thing I have nothing else. This is my one and only build (1st to be exact) and its only been 8 months since i built this.

I am trying to do a fresh os install now. Hope it works.

I can't even login with safemode

what kinda HD are you using? sounds like maybe a bad hd?

I am using kingston hyperX SSD as boot drive and a WD black for most of my files.

Are you getting a BIOS error code or beeps?

No i dont get any BIOS error code or beeps. What I can only see sometimes (this is like once every 15 attempts) for when I can login for about a sec something like an error msg appears and say "application failed to start" can't read the whole msg bcs it reboots again.

When i do startup repair it says windows can't repair automatically.

session details:

system disk = \Device\Harddisk0

Windows Directory = E:\Windows

AutoChk Run = 0

Number of root causes = 1

what does this mean??

have you tried  reinstalling your os? sounds like a a corrupt os. maybe something that occurred when your CPU shut down from the high temps.

I agree with the OS, However (Correct me if I'm wrong) but it sounds like it could possibly be a power supply. One of my friends was having a similar problem a few months after his first build. The computer would only boot for a short time then shut off. Tried a different supply and it worked. Just a suggestion.

good point, OP what PSU do you have?

Oh i have a Corsair GS700, HD7950 gpu, 4 case fans with one that has LED. I kinda doubt if its the psu bcs ive tried changing back to my stock cooling fan and it still does the same. I will try the OS clean install if I ever find my USB install.

i thought of this, when did you unplug your fan header, was the machine on when you unplugged it?
