I use to play this mod online so much in death match all man those were the days hl1 multiplayer loved it. Wonder if there are any crossfire servers still up?

Haha! That truely looks badass. I wish I could say yes to this but man...I was so addicted to Quake 3 Arena and I had a really crap computer when Half Life was released and I could never get it to work. I'd like to give this a go.
i ran hl 1 on a 233mhz 32mb ram and 3dfx voodoo3000 16 mb card quake 3 come out after that and it was like 300mhz required still played on my 233 tool long time to load
Yeah it was more or less because the computer was shit...meaning it had tons of problems. Some games I could play fine, some games it just wouldn't. I remember Half Life constantly crashing after less than a minute because of a sound issue I could never fix.
go buy hl 1 for 9 bucks and play it
