So the $400AUD r7 1700 Chip I just bought in Australia 8c16t chip was a once off and in 3-4 years I will be back to 4 core chips.
probably gonna laugh when its just a server platform and fans get butthurt theres no 'gaming' boards for like 400$
and they cost 800-1200$ or somethin
doesnt make sense for them to just make a dual ccx, and a octa ccx chip, a quad to do 8-16core medium duty server/workstation stuff would save amd some money over gutting all those massive naples dies
so not surprised at all theres 3 dies, honestly more surprised theres not been an anouncement for a light duty server/workstation platform using basically the regular ryzen die to replace c32, have a the 16core quad ccw be the replacement g34, and the naples/'zepplin' whatever platform be the mega high end throw down directly with intels 7k$ whatever 20+core shit
