Just updated to latest kdenlive though I hadn’t edited a video in a few months and since then I’ve installed/fixed the AMDGPU-PRO extensions for OpenCL. Does kdenlive use these? because the timeline performance with 4k video is flawless unless I use High Quality composition. Preview mode works excellently. I previously needed to downscale to 720p for reasonable seek performance.
