Anybody have any experience with used M.2 drives?

I just pulled the trigger on an SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 2280 I found on eBay for $54 as I figured it would be a great upgrade for my tablet PC currently rocking a 256GB drive.

Tablet’s a Latitude 5290 2-in-1 and works really well for my purposes.

I figured if the drive dies, I’ll still be able to pop the current one back in, but mostly wondering if I chose a decent drive for the price.

I would argue, for a used drive, you paid a bit much, since you can buy this SSD new for $63.99 on Amazon.

Drive was used minimally according to screenshots, but I think you’re right.

Edit - Just checked and it looks like there’s an 11% sale going on now. $71.99 before the discount. Oh well.

Got the drive and my laptop now has 1 TB storage. Lots of room for Virtual Machines and eBooks.

Drive only had 4 hours of power on time so looks like it was used long enough to install Windows on it.
