All of the parts can be found here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/oyeV Any tips on the build? I have an SSD I'm carrying over and I hardwire because, why not? :D But I'm mainly building this for LANs and for programming. Any tips guys?
just 2 things:
A. get a 7870 instead, more bang for your buck
B. get a psu from seasonic, xfx, corsair, cooler master, or silverstone. more reliable than rosewill
Agreed with everything except I can't vouch for Silverstone.
But pretty much anything out there that's 80plus is better than an 80plus roswill... or even worse. A NON 80 PLUS ROSWILL :O!!!!
Roswills are pretty much like little terrorist sleeper cells for your entire computer. If you like big messy explosions. Knock yourself out. Go get one. :)
ooh, dat give me an idea.......
involves high voltage AC, and plenty of blast shielding
Boom boom :D But nah, I'm going to stick below 700 Watts. This system won't pull very much and I don't plan on SLI'ing especially considering that the GPU doesn't pull more than 300 and the CPU is less than 100. I think 550 Watts will be plenty fine :D (Gold 80+ certified Seasonic)
