Had my workstation blue screen on me and now I get a BIOS is updating Led firmware message on boot. I can’t get into the BIOS to change settings and just stuck in a loop.
Any suggestions on fixing this?
Tried to reset the CMOS battery.
Flashback of the BIOS to the latest version.
Re-seated the ram
Removed all drives and tried to boot to USB. nothing worked
BIOS is updating Led EC2 firmware.
Do not shut down or reset the system to prevent system bootup failure.
BIOS1 has 1101 version of the BIOS. BIOS2 has 1502 version and switching between them hasn’t had any change to the error. Pressing the Safe Boot button just brings me back to the same error on the screen.
I hate to say it, but you should probably contact Asus support on this one. Unless they have a flash utility to address this specific problem you’ll most likely need to RMA the board.
That is my fear. Something went wrong with the device driver updates I did. Just odd it took a couple weeks of it working and just poof. mobo dead! Thanks for the suggestions.
